This will seem to be way off-topic at first, but I'll be quick and to the point.

I was thinking about the story of my birth and how it compares to one of the difficulty levels on DDR. You see, I was delivered early at 32 weeks in South Korea and left on a shelf to die. We do not know why my mother felt that this was her only solution, but we figure that she must have wanted to keep me since she had carried me for seven months before aborting me. Anyways, I was placed on a shelf to die, but some nuns came who had a ministry of taking care of aborted babies before they died. They took me to the hospital, where I stayed for 2 months.

I was not expected to walk, talk, eat by mouth or even smile. But due to the hard work and love of my family, I am now able to just about anything other teenagers can do. The only skill I lack is driving

Looking back today with my knowledge about the DDR difficulty levels, I can say that my roadblocks and struggles to survive are comparable to the Heavy or Challenge difficulty. I think that sometimes we think that we can't do Heavy on the dance mats, but we try and eventually succeed (No, sadly, I am not one of the successful ones, yet). I was not expected to do anything except be a big vegetable, yet my family and I both worked hard and we succeeded. I like to think about the fact that now I'm on "Mission Mode" in my life with some special "locked" mission to accomplish.

You probably know that only a few songs support the Challenge difficulty. In this view, I consider my battle for survival a "Challenge song" since almost no other baby aborted survives. But here I am today, normal, happy...and totally addicted to DDR

Unfortunately, topics like these have been done countless times, and they're extremely difficult to tell when someone is serious or not (unless you throw in some fresh prince).

That was extremely beautiful! Thank you for sharing that, Challenge812. It was a very touching story, indeed and I do hope life goes well for you.

You seem to have a very positive outlook on things and that is very good for you.

I am sorry that your circumstances were so dismal in the beginning but you seem to have progressed nicely through them and with such a positive attitude, I see no reason why you should stop progressing any time in the forseeable future.

Attitude is a big thing and with an attitude like yours, you should go far I think.

Yes, I am being serious, and I have proof. I'm not trying to draw attention to myself, but there's this show called "Facing Life Head-On" that comes on TBN (Dish channel 260). On September 4 at 11:30 a. m. eastern time, they're going to air a story about me with interviews with me, my parents and close friends. "Facing Life Head-On" is also available on some channel called i-Life, but that channel is not available on Dish.

That's a really touching story...I'm so happy you made it through all of this. Abortion makes me sad, and hearing about people like you make me happy and tells me that everyone has hope no matter what obstacles come in their way.

I have NO idea of how to put things on YouTube. Sorry. But maybe someone who knows how can do it. Another thought I came up with: the first part of my user name, Challenge, has a double meaning for me. First, it's the DDR level that I someday hope to be an expert at, and second, in light of all the challenges I have already overcome, as well as the ones that await me, be whatever they are, the name just seems logical to me.

I need some help right now. I've been stuck on Beginner level for over a year now, and no matter how much I practice Light, I just can't seem to master it. So what can I do? I REALLY want to move up! I notice that my problem seems to be moving quickly around the pad. Thought that might be helpful.

I thought I would just update you on this: I just got back from a presidential debate in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where I got to ask a question. The only thing wrong was, I was talking to an empty podium when I was supposed to be talking to Mayor Giuliani. Sigh. I'll catch up with him sometime and ask him in person, because I want to hear his reply.

The question I was supposed to ask him was: Do you honestly believe that an abortionist had a right to kill me?
