So im using all these tutorials from here to make my own metal pad. I used a madkats ddr pad for 360 and i was reluctant to find out wen i cut it instead of it being wires inside like the tutorials show, it was all clear plastic with black lines going everywhere.

I still built my pad but had to do it different then wat I planned.

the pad works. Still needs more metal sheets at top and a border. My question is, is there any way I can wire wires to the motherboard at the top of the pad to wires instead of this plastic deal? That way I can design the pad the way I want to instead of having to basically sandwich it.

Can you take a picture of what the motherboard on the pad looks like? I am assuming the it has all those little black lines, and then the two sheets of plastic for the pad.

I have taken one soft pad apart, and figured out how it worked, but I'm not totally sure thats how all soft pads work.

If there were pictures of the motherboard, then it would be easier to help.

I looked a the backside and a foam material is basically glued to the motherboard, so the only way to see whats behind it is taking a risk to breaking it...

you have to take the circuit board completely out of the plastic case if you want to solder the wires to it.

thats how all the softpads work.
take it out of the case, the plastic sheet just connects to the exposed area on the circuitry..
