I read a lot of complaining about metal pads doing bad on soft carpets. My place is 95% carpet , but I feel I would like a metal pad nevertheless.
Any recommendations on what to buy? Looking at the $100-$250 range.
Thanks in advance. |

A Blueshark. http://mymybox.com/ It's the only really good metal pad next to the CF, and is immune to carpets. The CF however, dies under carpets. This is because of it's build, it's one piece of wood with stuff drilled on top. The Blueshark is a piece of metal to my knowledge, which doesn't as easily break under strain unlike the wood, so you should be fine. You'll have to go a bit beyond your price range for it, but it's worth the money from what I've heard (and I've heard a lot). Hope that helped. _________________
