I bought my cobalt flux like 3 months ago and still can't use it.
I plug it... everthings works, steps too , but the lag is just too much annoying. I can't play over 3 steppers due to timing thing.

On my 2'' soft pad i pass 12 steppers and all the hard ITG stuff but can't with the poopy lag.

I bought an Ems Usb2 adapter, the one everybody told me to get.
I don't know if its with global offset but please help me.
The flux is kind of useless and taking place for nothing if i can't play on it, im going to trow it in the garbage if nobody can help me to fix it.

If you can help, it is very appreciated.
Would like to be able to play on it lol

Thanks

USB lags. End of story. If I knew how to change global offset, I'd tell you.
There is nothing wrong with your Cobalt Flux.

or, it just lags in general?

With my soft pad on my laptop it doesnt lag, it had an usb on it.
But with cobalt flux + the adapter it lags, yes i think its the global offset but i didn't found anything on google that really helpt me.

I need somebody who know how to fix it or had the same trouble.

I also have a Cobalt Flux, and it came with a USB adapter. I tried using it on my PC, and found that it was horrendously off-sync. What I did was:
1. Started up a song that I knew was on-sync.
2. Pressed F6 after the song started, but before the steps started. (This turns on Auto-sync).
3. Played through the song. The song was on-sync this time around.
4. After the song was finished, a screen popped up asking if I wanted to change the offset of the song. It said both what the old offset was and what the new offset would be, as well as the difference between the two. I typed the difference in a Notepad file (including the negative sign, if there was one) and chose no.
5. Repeated steps 1-4 for four more songs.
6. Closed Stepmania, took the average of the five differences (in my case, it was 0.040) and changed the global offset in Stepmania.ini to that (in case you don't know how, go to the Data folder in Stepmania, open Stepmania.ini, and search for GlobalOffsetSeconds).
7. Re-opened Stepmania and played another song, this time without pressing F6. It was on-sync!

Of course, I was using songs from DDR Universe, so don't expect to get the same global offset as me. Also, I was using SM 3.9. If you're using SM 3.95 CVS, then you can press F6 twice to change the global offset, as opposed to the offset of the song. If you do, you will only have to play one perfectly on-sync song, and answer "Yes" on the screen after you play it to sync the pad. One last thing: changing the global offset will make your soft pad off-sync. Unless you get two Stepmania engines running of the same song folders, you will not be able to have both your soft pad and your Cobalt Flux on-sync at the same time.
