ps2 --> dreamcast converter

My girlfriend is thinking about picking up DDR Club version for her dreamcast. I looked at the songlist and it loox pretty solid from what i can tell. but i have a question:

can anybody tell me about these ps2 to dreamcast converters? are they any good? i posted a link below so you guys can check it out. if anyone has ever used one, let me know what's good! i realize dreamcast is almost a dead system, but she doesn't have the money to buy a used ps2 or xbox. she already has a pad compatible for ps2/xbox and has the system. so the only thing setting her back is the game and this 20 dollar converter.

any suggestions?
