first of all, i wouldnt even bother with it.

secondly, i dont think there is even all that much room to even *put* the lights in.

you could always try it though.. E13.gif

Hmm... there's room for very small LEDs, but you'd have to worry about them making an "indentation" in the sheet metal/breaking when you step on them, due to the fact that there's practically no space in a CF at all. Then you'd have to think about integrating the circuitry... it's honestly more of a headache than you'd think. CF's all about compact in that sense, so you won't find anywhere to put it in.

It would be more worth your time to build a pad from scratch than to modify a Cobalt Flux with lights, because you'd have to replace the corner and middle buttons with thicker plexiglas or lexan, construct a polycarbonate encasement for the LED's, redo the whole wiring of the pad, and then pray that the lights shine through the graphics.

Knowing from experience how poopy those mats with the lights in them were, I wouldn't suggest it. Like KirbyRockz said, you have to find a way to integrate the wires. With that other mat, it made the mat extremely weak overall, because everything was routed through those extremely weak wires and when the lights went out the arrows would fuck up.
