Thinking of starting a DDR team and heading off to Japan to show off. If you consider yourself 'good' (can beat FAXX on difficult), how long did it take you to get where you are?

you don't ask these kind of questions on ddr freak, because you won't get a straightforward answer. most likely you'll get sarcasm from jackassses.
i agree with Milk Chan on traveling to Japan. it's not that it sounds stupid, but it's not really worth it. it's better just to show off here and on the internet. i don't think people would really go to see someone from the US play one of the games native to their country, when (don't mean to be harsh) people there could probably do better than you at it.
FAXX on difficult is what i consider good, not great, which is where i am right now. but to give you an answer that relates to what you came here for, i can beat Chaos expert (i guess that's ok, and that's the only boss song i can beat on expert), no bar, and it took me about 2 years of playing 3 one-hour sessions a month to start playing all the songs (except boss songs) on expert.
