Okay, so we saw the release of ten footers back when people were like "Max 300 omg". Then it was eventually pushed to PSMO. Then we got up to thirteen with ITG. Now with custom songs, we see people passing things like One More Lovely and other freakishly freaky steps.
My question is, what foot level do you think is the absolute limit? _________________

With OML being considered a 14ish, I'd say around 16 would be the absolute limit. _________________

After Strangeprogram it stops for streams.
No one's ever going to pass stuff like Fury of the Storm, Disregard, I Am Maid, Reality and stuff like that. =\ So not really much after OML does it stop. |

I don't think we can know until we get there. The a la Menthe has been passed. That would seem to suggest that runs almost twice the speed of determinator are passable. _________________

Well first off, don't go by foot ranking, everyone has opinions.
Second, it dosen't stop, anywhere.
The only thing that will stop someone is when they don't wanna do it anymore.
Fury of the Storm is passable, and so is basically anything.
You just gotta work your way up to it.
Pandemonium was impossible what, 2-3 years ago?
Uber Rave was insane, as was Quasar?
And people have easily ***'d that.
It's not the difficulty that will stop.
It's moving on to the next difficulty that will stop it. |

We must be using a different chart. I'm talking about a very hard fourteen that has streams at a very high speed. _________________

Sure it does. There is a limit to the human body, it just isn't clear exactly what it is. _________________

I think 15. I mean, there wouldn't be too many people who would be able to do 14s. And I almost no one could do 15s. But you must realize they have to be legit 14s/ 15s, not stepmania 14s or 15s which are more like weird 13s, I'm talking about no debate about whether they're 14 or 15 worthy... I don't think that made any sense... _________________

Foot ratings on StepMania are basically worth absolutely nothing. Juggernaut is a 10, where as OML is a 15? |

Probably the absolute limit is 16's or 17's, since bracket raping makes things easier. Otherwise, it would be 15. _________________

not only that but we know the general limits of the human body so if one was so inclined they could go about determining said limits and makeing charts right in that zone _________________

I think that there will never be clear absolute limits, but the increases in what is possible will slow down after a while. _________________
