You know how A Stupid Barber is shown as a console exclusive before SuperNOVA (by the cyan colour)? Well, it isn't. The song appeared on the arcade version of Dancing Stage Fusion, which was released 2 years before SuperNOVA. Proof

You're using SuperNOVA as your basis? Go back and see DDR EXTREME CS for Japan.

Or be a bit technical and use DDRMAX2 US too.

Yup. The steps are easy to AA. Could've been made harder IMO.

A lot of DDR songs could make good 9 footers, but you know, Konami doesn't really do that kind of thing.

Which isn't that bad of a thing. Not every song has to be a 13 footer to enjoy it.

No, but anything below an 8 is kind of boring and recent mixes have been overwhelmed with 7's. :/

Try freestyling it for a fresh new perspective.

I guess so, but I'd like to practice at home, which I can't do right now.

IIRC it was used in one level of the training mode.

Yeah, the third "Expert" level (what a joke). Let's see, the first one was "Baby Give Me Your Love" and the second was "Try 2 Love You". It's semi-scary that I actually remember that after like 2 years of not playing it...but ah well, I guess some things just stick in your mind no matter HOW long you are a DDRtist.

Yes it is. They have no excuse not to add 9+ foot Challenge charts to most of the songs.

I hate it when people say things like "I'm glad DDR is easy". If you think the hardest difficulty is too hard to be any fun, then guess what? You can play an easier one. AMAZING.

So um, is it bad that awhile ago I was watching Family Guy, and when Quagmire came on, I thought something to the effect of "Whoa, It's AA Bob!" (I don't remember if the exact thought was "It's AA Bob" or "It's AA Bob's avatar", but I don't think it matters in this case)?

I think A Stupid Barber was the second, and Baby Baby Gimme Your Love was the third. They used a slow song for the third so the eighth notes wouldn't be so scary for beginners.

It's true, they need another difficulty for that song. I personally don't even classify it as an 8 as it is on the machine.

Btw, a little side note. In my arcade, playing doubles is more impressive to people than playing the hardest single stuff. Why, you might ask? Fewer people play doubles. It's rare around here. I think people would rather watch someone play JANEJANA doubles than MaxX because it doesn't look so much like a stompfest.

No, they put them in the console mixes in order of how they appeared. Max had Baby Gimme Your Love, Max2 had Try 2 Luv You, and Extreme had A Stupid Barber, basically matching the order they appeared in Lesson Mode.

But that's just not the way Konami is. They will never make 9 foot charts for every song.
