I just saw one in Random Chat. What happened to the question thing in the signup page? Did they figure it out?

It's one of two things:
Targeted spam (which is the EXACT thing I Warned about).
A spambot that wasn't caught and manually banned back in the day.

I know this is the iffy side but have you tried looking at their usernames? Some bots have used stupidly obvious or unusual names.
