Roxor Making a New Game with Andamiro

I doubt anyone will beleive me since i have no link, but i got word from the manager at eight on the break whose ordering an NX cab for next years roxor game upgrade. (the place where the test grounds were for ITG ITG2 and road rebel) roxor is now making some kind of hybrid of ITG and pump it up. It will be 5 panels and an upgrade off of NX cabs. No one knows what the name of it will be called but it will be realesed in about a year from now. excpect news from andamiro and roxor sites in a few months. If this game becomes a big hit in the US this game may end the pump series for the better. and begin a whole new generation of roxor/andamiro 5 panel games. I'm very excited for this and i hope we can see xuxa back in action w/ new 5 panel charts =)

no there allowed to make another dancing game they just have to think outside the box so making another 4 panel dancing game is pretty much out of the question

yea there will be no more 4 panel games. roxor made a smart move going w/ andamiro and using 5 panel because konami is forced to keep there greedy hands off it. The Law is on our side now!

I hope that they are making it 5 panels, with four normal ones (like DDR/ITG) but the fifth one isn't used at all.

If this is actually true, it doesn't really matter to me. It would be cool to see Roxor back in the dancing game business, but if I can't play it on my CFs, then I don't care about it (you can't really play PIU on a CF, since the dimensions are all wrong).

My advice to ITG players is to keep your eye on ITG Rebirth.

Yes remember what itg did to ddr w/ step charts? destroyed them. And i know that some of the 21's+ step charts get out of hand on pump so imagine how different and fun roxors new charts will be. i can't say this is true but i could imagine tighter timing windows and itg graphic's or just an updated system of that i would hope. I really am hoping for old itg 1 and 2 songs to come back. Maybe this game will host the best of pump/ITG songs and a few new songs. I can't give you guys a link to anything yet im sorry all i ask for you is to have faith in me and beleive my word. Just wait in a month or two sites are going to be filled with info on this. so to all you itg lovers better, find the nearest pump machine and start practicing!

off topic alittle bit but i was concerned about that whole stupid law suit thing. I know konami owns itg 2 now but do they have all the licencings for the songs too? can roxor still use songs from itg2?

this could be interesting. the only things keeping me from playing PIU have been the lack of any machines near me and the fact that it's always on flat. this could change the latter.

I wouldn't be that surprised if they did this. For one thing, it would present a whole new challenge for players since a lot of them would have to basically start over as beginners for awhile. Who knows, maybe they'll come up with a 5-panel CF.

But yeah. If I remember correctly, some PIU mixes also have 1.5x/2.5x (since I missed seeing them on those pages). I know Prex 3 and Exceed don't, which made reading a bit challenging for me at the time.
