*before you groan yourselves about this topic's existance, my parents made me do it after a nice discussion about my pad problems - they seem clueless about the DDR community even after I explained it a million times now*
*ahem*
My MyMyBox SOLOMODE 2200 pad has finally hit the umpteenth weather stripping/washer/plexiglass mod, even screwing through the glass into the wood (bad idea, I tried to convince my dad) to keep it secure and I am still plagued with stuck arrows, stripped screws and the whole lot of pad sensor troubles.
My question to you: Is there an alternative to my pad that can handle successfully an hour a day, seven days a week of a 125lb person playing level 9s through 13s with minimal maintaining? My minimal I mean nothing beyond cleaning, and fixing sensors and cracked arrow plates when needed and not re-working the arrow system to attempt eliminating problems.
I was thinking the Blueshark, or one of DancingTofu's designs, but I am worried that one won't feel arcade-like enough AND be durable enough to withstand the use, or the other will be all that but weigh way too much.
I am looking at the price range of around $350-$450.
My foam pad just magically... died so I need help fast since I am now left with nothing but a crap PumP softpad that will die next.
