How do custom courses work in ITG PC?

I have noticed that one could load .crs files into ITG PC through the perferances.ini tag:

AdditionalCourseFolders=

(You must have r1 installed to see this)

However the courses don't appear in either Marathon or Survival modes. You can tell they loaded when you see the records for courses, but the player can't access them.

My guess to this problem is that the .crs files need to have a tag of sorts to program the course to work in Marathon or Survival modes otherwise it sounds like the ITG PC program just isn't built yet to load custom courses. Any help on this?

Apparently i'm the only other person on this board who gives a shit about courses.
I'm almost positive that you can't add new courses at the moment, and possibly never.
If you can, the courses probably haven't been specified as to whether they're a marathon or survival, and I would think marathons are only acceptable.
