I've been looking around for a new metal pad recently and I fell upon this site, www.ddrgame.com and I was just wondering if it was worth anything. I was leaning towards a Nexen but it seemed a little much for my parents to pay for for Christmas, especially when I have three siblings. The one mat ddrgame.com offersthat I'm interested in specifically is the Tournament pad, found here:

http://ddrgame.com/dadareddtome.html

Has anyone had any experience with this pad, or the site in general?

It's just another afterburner knock off. You don't want this. Cobalt flux for $270 right now is your best deal and it will probably last 20 times longer than that pad and for $70 more. Also if you say you got siblings, this pad will end up taking a beating. Try to convince them of that.

Yeah, but the CF doesn't feel like the arcade one bit with or without the mod kit, and the panels sink in. Sure it's durable, but it feels nothing like the arcade and I usually get these random misses during 11's and 12's because I don't step right in the center on the panel. You can also get stripped screws on them which you can prevent this by not using anything other than a screwdriver on it, but if you get one it's really annoying fix.

Also, how is that an Afterburner knock-off? It looks nothing like the Afterburner at all; if anything it's a TX-1000/TX-2000 knock off.
