What would you think of a DDR for Wii?
I think it should have real songs and not Mario-themed songs. Or at least make Zelda-themed DDR and continue making different DDR's based on different Nintendo franchises. The Wiimote could be used to move hands like Hands & Feet Mode for DDR Extreme through SuperNOVA (PS2). IT would be the birth of a new DDR game that might be ported to the arcades!

We do not need another spinoff. Not after Mario and Strawberry Shortcake.

No Zelda DDR. (period)

I really wish people would stop asking about a Wii DDR. Sure it'd be great, and if there will ever be one, Konami will tell us.

There you go.

Normal DDR makes you look like a retard anyway. I don't see how the Wii would make it much worse.

whatever they make, i hope it's good.

I wouldn't even mind completely new rhythm games either, given the capabilities of the controllers.

If Konami does release a DDR for the Wii I'm sure they'll throw in some kind of Mario twist.

Yeah, like a cool drum game, or a game where you strap Wiimotes to your arms and legs and move around.

Hey, why not?

A good name would be "Strap Wiimotes to Arms and Legs and Move Around". aka "SWMTAALAMA"

Anyway, a Wii DDR would be okay, but if they were doing it, they'll probably announce it by now.

I saw an ad for the game tie-in to the new movie Happy Feet (which will probably suck) and it had a screenshot which looked suspiciously like a DDR ripoff. The ad said the game would be for Wii along with some other systems, so I think there's at least gonna be a Happy Feet themed Wii dancepad, if not more.

Happyfeet for the Wii has "tapdancing", you just shake the controller up, down, left, and right tho. And the motions dont work too well, so ur stuck with the d-pad

My goodness that is stupid. I don't see why they make games based on movies anyway, they all suck (except for the Harry Potter ones, which are alright).

Since the Wii operates wirelessly, I can already see a great host of problems syncing it up properly. That, and if it was created, it probably would have Zelda music in it, which is reason enough to stop right there.

I don't see next-gen consoles bringing much more to the table than crisper graphics and a higher frame rate.

If there is then that would be wierd.

Knowing that I am a DDR collector anyways, I think I would buy just to support the DDR Franchise.
