Would you rather have a DDR game with 200 songs, but most of the songs are bad and low quality, or a DDR game with 15 songs that has excellent songs, but not a big selection. I'd pick a DDR game with 200 songs simply because I have a *huge* selection of songs. Also, why the hek does everyone like DDRMAX so much? I don't see anything special about it.

Poll threads = not allowed.

Many people like DDRMax because it has a few exclusive songs, and lots of generally liked ones. What's it to you if they like it?

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

Nothing - I just wanted to know why everyone liked it so much. What I want to know even more is why these forums are so strict. All I here is, "Polls are not allowed", or "You should have posted this there", etc. I mean come on - talk about party pooping.

1. DDR Freak Forums isn't a party.
2. If you don't like the forums, no one's forcing you to post here.

Trust me, nobody's picking specifically on you, it's just if nobody told people about the rules, nobody would listen to them/the place would be full of spam like this.

lol, you said pooping.

DavidYKO - I know it's not a "party", but its not supposed to be so serious either. Oh - and I understand that there would be spamming, but what's wrong with posting the topic I just posted. I feel it's a normal topic to be discussing on DDR freak - if there's anything wrong with it, tell me specifically. And I didn't mean for this to be a poll, I meant for it to be a "discussion", meaning which one would you choose, and *why*.

Also, *all* websites that I go on that have forums are all exactly as strict - I don't know whether it's a Gestapo state or whether I'm supposed to have fun!

The point here is that you're spamming the board with crap that no one cares about. We don't need to hear everyone's personal opinions about certain mixes. It costs money to keep this forum up, I'm sure.

I know - but come on - on a website called DDR Freak, you should be able to post anything related to DDR. I mean if I can't post something like this topic on here - where else am I supposed to do it?

DDRMAX is probably the best DDR American PS2 mix.

C'mon! lets just play the game... I think you are supposed to like post which one you want, and post a different one!

Ok... Id chose the crappy 200 one.

Would you rather (WYR) have a great quality reliable softpad (that slips and slides), or a metal pad with tons of bugs.

The latter.

Few songs that are really good.

What I look for in music:

How the song sounds
Step patterns
"funness"
Personally, I have over 300 songs for StepMania, and I don't even play 3/4 of them. I usually only do my favorites. I'm trying new ones now though.

Yeah - but the game gets boring after a while if you just have a small selection of songs. Even if the songs are the worst songs in the world, at least you have 200 of them!

Most likely the one with 200 songs. Even if they're not as good, there's at least more of them. It's not like there's a fine line between good and bad.

I would choose the 15 high quality ones. because if they were all crappy I usually would not play it anyways. But why do this when i have 2400 i can pad on stepmania ^^.
