I haven't ever seen these. Then I did a quick search and found some results on here about how rare they are. Well I was on eBay just like 5 minutes ago and typed up "Dance Dance Revolution" as usual, then go to highest price (to look for arcade ddr). Then I found these:

I want them. I know I can't have them though. They are like identical to the arcade pads.
Look I don't know if this goes in this forum or not. I didn't wanna put it in the marketplace because I'm not the one selling it. I just thought this would interest a lot of people. |

So, are the people selling Beat Gear on Ebay as big a ripoff as the person originally "selling" them? (And by "selling," I mean taking your money and running to Peru or wherever it was.) _________________

DarkCore- Hah I'm out of cash too, and there is no way my parents will buy me it. I wish I had it.
Shinmizu- No, the seller wants the buyer to pick it up in California, if not then the buyer will pay shipping.
kagelump- Probably is... or maybe just one of the lucky first buyers
Anyone know how much BeatGear orignally charged for these? |

Well, I'll be damned. o_o I just went looking for Beat Gear pads a few days ago on eBay and couldn't find any there. Now one pop up. Wow, $1,000? I'm pretty sure that's double what these things cost new. And yet that's still not as bad as the the $1,800 that the Konami DDR ASC cost. So they made 36 of these things total? I thought it was a bit higher than that, but I guess I was wrong. Heh, if I had $1,000, I'd consider buying it just to say I had one. |
