TAC was kind enough to send us a Freedom V Wireless to take for a test-drive. Does first-to-market with a wireless controller mean first to the top? Take a look at our review and see what you think.
During the time we were handling this review, TAC also announced their new Double Range Freedom V, which has a second set of fret buttons close to the base of the guitar for rockin' out on solos, and it's southpaw-compatible and wireless just like the Freedom V Wireless. You can see it here.

So, I assume anything TAC makes from here on out is compatible with GH2?
If it is I might look into getting one, my SG from the first game has been through some rough times lol. |

Yes, this is true. The original controllers worked because even though the SG has left/right soldered on, the first game didn't check for it. Since the second game does and TAC was made aware of this, they fixed it in their shipping controllers. At this point, the controller has been completely mapped out, so RedOctane can't break the TAC controllers again without disabling their own SGs.
