I just want to apologize to whoever gets stuck cleaning up my mess. I modified one location (Nickel Mania, Carrollton, TX) and added another (Whatz Up Family Fun Center, Kemp, TX), but totally screwed up in the "Hours of operation" box. I didn't realize how limited the space was, so I added more details than were allowed. And as noted in the FAQ, I can't go in and re-modify until the changes are approved or rejected.
Oh, and just to make things worse, the addition got doubled up thanks to the server glitches. This one is a dupe.
For what it's worth, both locations are pretty nice.
Nickel Mania has 5 plays for four nickels. $2 admission is no problem, especially if you go to their site (nickelmania.com, natch) and get the coupon for 20 "free" nickels. Anywhere else that you can play 5x5 times for two bucks -- and get free water to boot? The only downside: sometimes the under-10's are there for parties, so don't step on them. And there's this one 40-year-old dude (me, actually) who thinks he's doing pretty good because he can do Rhythm and Police on Light, but he's pretty harmless.
Whatz Up (goofy name, I know) is out in the middle of nowhere, near Cedar Creek Lake 40 miles southeast of Dallas. You get a good deal on tokens if you buy more at a time. Saturday nights from 9-midnight, they put everything on free play and charge $5 admission. If you ever wanted to go where nobody knows you to practice your movez, this is the place. I hope somebody goes -- the owners think *I've* got skillz! |

This really belongs more on your local forum than Site Feedback, since this isn't a question or suggestion about the site.
It's an understandable since you're new here, and we appreciate the thought, but be sure to post on the correct forum next time. _________________

Oops! The message started out as a site-related issue (me screwing up the location submission), and then grew into something else. Sorry, I'll try to stay on the pads in the future. |

Actually, this would be the right place to ask for help with the Machine Locations. You don't need to give a speech about it for locals in this forum though. THAT part would belong in your regional forum.
I went ahead and deleted the duplicate and approved the original you created, so you are free to go in and edit what needs to be fixed. _________________

My fault. The only reason I figured it would go on the regionals is because he didn't actually ask a question directly. Sorry 'bout that. _________________
