How good were you?

I was looking on the Cobalt Flux forums at a thread I made about 5 months ago stating my accomplishments. It really surprised me how far I've come and how it wasn't really that long ago.

In two months I've come from not being able to AA anything at the arcade to AA'ing 9's left and right and SDG'ing several songs.

HVAM - fail.
exotic ethnic - fail.
rhythm and police - fail.
most 9s - fail.

Now:
all (or almost all) 9s: AA, A or Bs
(i.e. Xepher Heavy - AA)
Xepher Oni - B
HDV Heavy - B
Max 300 Heavy - C
Chaos Heavy - B

Well, yeah. I hit a plateau about half a year ago and didn't improve at all till last month.

For some reason I can't improve. I can play heavy and all but I can't get into the "real" ten footers. It's weird. I've been playing ddr for 4 years too!

I started a little over 6 months ago. I've improved ALOT.

My scores on 9 footers are only A and above.

I've passed nearly every 10 in DDR.

I got 1 AAA.

I'm a much better arcade player than I was back in August.

I passed one 11 footer and one 12 footer in ITG.

My FA is starting to improve alot.


And back in April and May I'd be happy to A light songs. Oh the improvement.

I was at the same skill level for around two years: AAing 9's and barely passing but Aing 10's. But when I got into ITG in March I started getting better. Since that time a little over half a year ago I've passed every 11, six 12's, and improved my scoring tremendously (went from 30G on most DDR songs to AAAing/black flagging/SDGing them, as well as going from low A's to mid-high AA's on 10's; went from low S+ing ITG 9's and 10's to **ing them, as well as passing and 90-98ing all 11's (except Hardcore Symphony) and 80-95ing six 12's).

I got my first AAA (home version, like all of my AAAs) in June or July 2005. I got the second one in November. In May 2006 I hit 100. Now I have about 210.

Now I have 90. And 7 AAA's. Meh.

iamchris4life would win this thread. In a year and half of playing he AAA'd Lom and black flagged PSMO. Kevbo #2.

3 months ago I was real bad at itg only 11 I could pass was xuxa now I have mostly 90+ on most 11s. Except Hardcore Symphony(85.00) and July(89.96) I would be way better but I only played ITG in the arcade about six times.

Liiike... I wanna say, about five months ago I passed Sakura on heavy.

That was the last new song I passed.

With no SuperNOVA, I only have all the MAXes and Paranoia Survivors to pass. And my PA went from decent, to good, to better, to not so good... : /

... ITG doesn't sound like a bad idea...

I have so many memories of me sucking.

About 9 months ago, I played on ItG2 for my first time. I played XuXa, and passed it. But I almost threw up.

About two years ago, I got my first heavy AAA. At home, but well, whatever. Kick the Can.

And about 6 months ago, I had 10-20 AAA's in the arcade.

Now, XuXa is a cakewalk. Kick the Can is still easy. And I currently have 67 AAA's. I can't believe the progress I've made. Even though it's not as massive as moving from standard to heavy (is it more politically correct to say "difficult to expert" now?), I'm still proud of myself and what I can do.
