That's the thing. All the good stuff is on PS2 and Xbox. All we get is Mario, Kirby, and the same stuff again and again. _________________

It's better when you use a card. You put the money on the card and it deducts the amount. No coins involved. _________________

I used to live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, where some of the arcades use cards. _________________

Damn straight.
Playdium in Mississauga, Ontario uses cards to. (Example: You pay $20.00 for 120 credits. You swipe your "playcard" into a card reader attached to the machine. For example DDR SuperNOVA is seven credits so you swipe your card press the button on the reader and the seven credits are automatically deducted from your playcard, and a credit is transmitted to the machine. It saves you from carrying $20.00 worth of quarters in your pocket. Makes coin lines a hell of alot easier.
Here's Playdiums description of the playcard.
Playdium wrote: | Virtually all games and attractions (with a few exceptions) are on the playcard system. This means that you do not need to carry coins or cash in order to play our games. You simply add money to a playcard to accumulate credits or time, and SWIPE PLAYCARD through the card readers on each game or attraction in order to activate it. |

That's rather awesome. Too bad I'd have to travel like 100 miles to the nearest arcade. |

Yeah, it's pretty cool. But Playdium only has DDR SuperNOVA and DDR Extreme. I prefer to play In The Groove; if Playdium had an ITG machine I'd be there all the time. |

They'll just keep making Mario Party over and over.
They have about 5 other Mario sports games, Tennis, Golf, Baseball, etc. _________________
