Me and some buddies of mine (all pretty good DDR players) got the idea to start a DDR Club at our high school. I know there are DDR clubs at various high schools and colleges around the US, but what we don't know is how they operate, like what they do at meetings, how to handle money for pads, etc.

So what I want to know is how the DDR Club experiance is to those who are in them and how meetings work and such.

Thanks!

Awesome I had a DDR club back in my freshman year but it all fell apart...all you need is like a 5 dollar per month fee or something like that or whatever amount you want...this is for drinks, or new pads. Have someone(or people) bring some PS2s and a game and/or have other people bring games. meet like 2 times a week or 1 time every week. and just keep everything managed. it is pretty simple so i hope that helped

When I read the title, I thought that you were talking about a club used to play DDR.

Hmm...that would be a bit rough on most pads...

at meetings my club just plays ddr
we just kinda see who'll bring in their pads for each meeting and do it that way, but if you wanted to just be like "sup fgts, 5$ each, now" and buy some pads that way.

A Dance Night Club that played all DDR music. Now that's something I'd like.(of course, IIDX would be natural on the club scene as well. DJ Simulation. E15.gif )

Let me help you out Tsukasa. We just started the school's DDR Club this year.

We meet once a week.

Meetings start with a warmup period.
Move onto a little discussion period. (Each week we analyze one of the artist's style(s))
Play for awhile
Then have a Technical Session teaching people how to do some of the weeks featured songs.

Membership fee is good...(The school has asked us to raise 6000$ for a SN machine nd they'll pay the rest)...We're trying to organize weekend trips to competitions and malls to paly together...
