You are comparing the most accurate arcade player with the most accurate home player.

In all honesty, it is Chris who has the higher scores, that being said, he is using the home version with ever so slightly larger timing windows and Cobalt Fluxes which have a different feel than upgrades or dedicabs.

Damien has mega crazy scores at the arcade with guess what, slightly stricter timing windows. Also, he scores well on all the ITG2 songs as well whereas Chris has no access to them and thus it is difficult to predict his performance on songs like Determinator or V2.

Who is better? This is actually really hard to tell. They are probably the best at each individual area (Home or arcade) but they both probably would suffer a little transfering to the other environment.

If I had to pick one, Damien. You have to remember that he gets those scores on a dedicab. Don't get me wrong, Chris is good, but Damien is probably better

Apparently where he lives, it's practically light-years away from an arcade.

That is such bullshit. I know Chris, he's 45 minutes away from the Burnsville Mall, home to a Time Out with a pretty good DDR Extreme and the best ITG2 in the state (which isn't saying much). Honestly it's not that there aren't any arcades he could go to, given his attitude towards people who are worse than him, it's probably just that the arcades aren't good enough for him or some such nonesence. Trust me, if he really wanted to go to an arcade it wouldn't take him more than an hour to get there.

Not to mention that it's still an R1 Dedicab E15.gif .

No, you can't change the timing on the home version. I'm fairly sure Damien lives out in the middle of nowhere, too.

Well, suburban Kansas isn't really the middle of nowhere. Damien's about 6 miles away from his usual ITG2 Dedicab, 7 miles away from an R11 dedicab, and 11 miles from an ITG2 upgrade machine.

We're certainly not lacking for ITG2 around here. Supernova is currently about 25 miles away, but we can't have everything. Maybe eventually, though...

When it comes to memorizing charts Chris is insane. He knows the steps of PSMO, Sakura, Cartoon Heroes, Sweet Sweet <3 Magic, and CSFIL: Speedy mix by heart. That shows he probably plays more than Damien. So if Chris put that kind of time in the arcades, he'd win. But if Damien practiced more on a flux, he'd probably win? I dunno. They're both insane, lets leave it at that. =C)
