You can't return it, that's the problem.
It's still under warrenty though so you can get Cobalt Flux to fix it and if they can't do that, you'll end up getting a "new" one and you'll have to hope that it's better.

Dont return it.... How long have you had it?

My CF took about 1 week of Hardcore playing to break it in.

then it was perfect.

I've been playing on mine on Expert for over two months and it still sucks. I can't even play on it due to the pad errors that I get.

Don't forget me guys! Mine is pretty bad too. I plan to call CF sometime for troubleshooting and whatnot. I know they've got a number somewhere.

Mine had really bad problems, then I did this thing AA Bob was talking about (you pry part of the velcro up and untwist the wire) and it stopped sucking as much. biggrin.gif

I should probably do it to the central wire too because I'll occasionally get streams of way offs/boos (they always come a few at a time) even with the individual arrows done.

I was going to get a Blueshark since they're supposed to be really sensitive and stuff, but I bought an xbox 360 instead. happy.gif TOTALLY WORTH IT. XD

Ohhh and you may be getting a ton of excellents and stuff because the syncing on ITG home is early compared to the arcade. Try setting it on -5 or -10 ms. E13.gif

That happens to me too. What is this central wire you speak of?

I'm guessing that CF has done something stupid to their manufacturing process or design. Maybe they switched to lower-quality materials to save money, or are cutting corners when building their pads. I actually sent them an email a few weeks ago asking them if they had made any changes that could cause wire or cbox problems, but they never replied (surprise, surprise).

If I'm right, and the sudden drop in quality is the result of their attempt to save money or time at their customers' expense, then hopefully it will come back to bite them in the future, and they'll go back to doing things correctly.

I'm just glad I got both of mine a long time ago. E4.gif

So um, is it bad that awhile ago I was watching Family Guy, and when Quagmire came on, I thought something to the effect of "Whoa, It's AA Bob!" (I don't remember if the exact thought was "It's AA Bob" or "It's AA Bob's avatar", but I don't think it matters in this case)?

Yeah, now they don't reply to your emails unless you spam their inbox with 15+ of them.

Well, it's time to end my denial and join the club. After a week of playing, I'm seeing even more nc's from my Flux. I stopped short today due to about 15 misses on July Expert :/.

I dunno what I'm going to do; I still haven't tried the wire fix yet, so maybe that will help. If not, I will be calling/emailing CF sometime this week.
