Just a question, Im going to make a metal pad and i was wondering if its ok to use a control box from a wireless soft pad. When i use the pad normaly theres no lag (At least i dont see any lag). Im going to build a metal pad out of it because the pad is defective, The up arrows sensor is half way on the middle pad. So I was thinking of taking the control box and making a metal pad. Also which acrylic costs the least and how much on avarage does it cost. Thanks for your time. (Im acctually going to buy a hard foam then make the soft pad into a metal) _________________
Don't use acrylic. It's cheaper, but it's really brittle (basicly, if it doesn't crack while building the pad, it will crack while you're playing). Use lexan. Most people hate wireless. I've personally never tried it, but I've heard nothing but bad reviews on it.
Use sheet metal to make arrrows, thats what I did and its alot cheaper. Sheet metal runs about 5$ a sheet. Acrylic runs about 30$ a sheet. _________________
