Hello! I was wondering if you all could help me with something. The other day I bought a Gamestop Pad for $25(it was actually from Wal-mart but i think it's the same one as the one on the gamestop website). Ever since I got it I've been having trouble with the up arrow. Here's my question: Should I return the pad and just replace it with the same kind or should I just get my money back and get a $45 Datel Wireless pad? I've heard mixed reviews for both so I was just wondering which one of the two was better. Just so you know, I'm really bad at DDR so I'm not going to be beating the crap out of it by doing 9 footers (i can barely do 5 footers!) and I weigh about 280 and I don't really care about accuracy, just as long as the pad feels good and all the arrows are responsive. I would really appreciate your help and thanks for reading!

depends where you get the softpad. most are 25 bucks. i would get my money back and for the same price i would get the offical konami soft pad. the wireless ones always croke after just a couple of weeks. my friend had one and he thought it was the best thing but it started to not work after about 3 weeks. my lattest konami pad i got 6 months ago and as much as i hate soft pads now it has not failed me at the least. im working on 10 footers so thats why i dont like it, i slip alot but you shouldnt have a problem with that. for cheap soft pads, the only ones ive heard that are good are the official konami pads. dont get the mad catz one though, it will crush under your feet into a little ball. but yeah, good luck with that.

the gamestop pro deluxe foam pad was amazing if you replaced the poopy foam with good foam....i had it for 5 months and it worked great. I dont think they sell it anymore but if they do i reccomend getting on...they're only $40.

I'd see if you can return it...and this might not be a good idea, but you could just get these 2 for the same cost, and hell...one of em has got to work E1.gif

I avoided the wireless Datel pad and got a BNS lite. I've had it for almost 3 weeks and it's working perfectly so far.

I forgot to mention, you should try the Konami soft pad. If you askme, it's the greatest soft pad you can get. It doesn't slide around much (for a softpad) and it has a pretty decent lifespan (for a softpad).

Neither, i've tried both... the wirless worked fine for me except it wouldn't connect and the Gamestop Pad sucked altogether. Try the Ignition 3.0, it works very well.

Laff.

After hearing everything about Ignition 3 (I've only played on one 3 times) breaking, everything about how crappy the TX series is, having an Afterburner break on me, how much softpads are only good for beginners (And as an owner of 6 modded softpads). I've decided that the CF is the only DECENT pad on the market right now and nothing else should be bothered with <_< And I have a bunch of issues with CF too frown.gif
