Afterburner question

I recently got a RedOctane Afterburner metal pad, and I was wondering:
Do I need extra serial screws for the pad/controlbox link? I only got two, and they were in the controlbox side of the serial cable between the pad and the cbox. Help?

Also, can I take off the...well, it looks like cellophane...on the arrows, and the white stuff on the middle, bottom left, and bottom right squares?

i only got two as well. it doesnt really matter. you just have to plug it back into the pad every once in a while. and, yes you can take the "wrapping" it came in.
