It is rumored that Extreme is the last arcade machine. IDK about home versions, but its definite that Max2 is coming to US-PS2 this fall.
Extreme was advertised as the ultimate ddr mix.
No one really knows... but I believe it will be the last one, unless Konami needs more money. _________________

You have to understand that there is no hope in hell of a new US available arcade version. | Oops.

As was reported earlier this week by DDRSpot **shameless plug** in an exclusive interview with Akira Yamaoka and Hirotaka Ishikawa there is another DDR arcade game in the works.
That is all. For more info go to www.ddrspot.com

I think it was something to the effect of building new hardware for it, since DDR up until Extreme was working on Playstation One level hardware...or something to that extent. "We are starting over" or something to that effect was kind of the catch phrase...
...or perhaps I'm delusional. |
I was about to say the same thing, I belive they are having a new beggining with probably all new songs, I hate when the bring back some of the same old songs over and over again. New material is a must if they make a new ddr mix and I hope it is some good stuff because after extreme they have a lot to do to make it better. _________________

I've never seen someone bump a 2-year old thread before. 6-months at the most, but not 2 years. Lock? _________________
