Drifting risers in Ignition 3.0. Please help!

I know there's an Ignition thread, but I'm posting this seperatly because the official thread doesn't see much action.

Today I noticed that the riser under the right arrow has slid out a bit from under the sensor, and is now halfway in the middle circle of the mat. I'm afraid that if I leave it, my sensor could break. This might have happened when I had the cover held up today to adjust the foam insert a bit, or it could have just happened through regular use.

Is there anyway I can move the riser back without ripping apart the pad? This thing is still fairly new, and I really don't want to go shredding it apart already a mere couple of months after I dropped $60 on it. Can anyone help me out?

EDIT: The left arrow riser has begun to drift too, and now the right riser is barely under the arrow anymore. I DO have a warranty from Game Stop, so I've been thinking about just taking it back and getting a new one, but I want to see if there are any other options before I do so.

This is just an idea, but try unzipping it and then taking out the foam inserts. Then take a razoir blade and cut a little (I'd say about 3 in.) slit in the center of the bottom of the dance surface (not the part on the ground, the upper layer). Make sure you cut carefully so you do not cut through the very top layer of the dance surface. When you can touch the riser try to put a couple little dabs of super glue on it. then, use something, or just your finger, to push it back into place. Then small amount of glue will dry and it wont move anymore. Once you have fixed the riser, put a very thin line of super glue along the slit to seal it back up. Once it has all dryed, you can just put the foam inserts in, zip it up, and dance!!

. I seriously think that would work well. Just make sure not to cut through the very top of the upper surface, just the bottom of the upper surface. Then you won't be able to tell you did anything to it, cause the cut will be inside the pad only

Okay, I see what you're saying. That would probably work, though I don't know if I'd use super glue. It's very unforgiving if I were make a mistake.

I'll work with it a little more externally and if I can't get it to go back that way, I'll look into your idea. Thanks for the help!

Okay, so my mom's totally against me cutting any sort of slit in my pad, no matter how big or small it is. To be honest, I'm not sure if I trust myself with a sharp object around my pad either.

Is there anything else I can do to fix it?

It's a long shot, but maybe you could just take the foam out and push it back in from the side. And if that's not a permanent fix, look for other help or take it back I guess.

P.S. What Ignition company version? Where'd you get it?

If you're not willing to open it up, I'd say exchange it. There's little you can do without mucking around with the insides.
