What are the classical songs that some DDR songs are based off? I know I recognize a bunch but I can't figure out what most are.

For example I believe V is from The 4 Seasons (winter). Anyone else know any others for sure. In particular I'm Dream A Dream is really bugging me.

Dream a Dream is based off of Hall of the Mountain King (also based on the Inspector Gadget Theme). Kakumei is based on Chopin's Revolutionary Etude, but other than those and V and Speed over Beethoven, I don't know any others.

Is A based off of something?

End of the Century is a remix of part of Beethoven's 9th Symphony
Kick the Can (speaks for itself)

I'm sure A is from something but I'm not sure what.

A is an original composition by Takayuki Ishikawa (dj Taka/dj Amuro/dj Setup).

It's ok, for the longest time I didn't know if A was original or classical. People still write orchestral music but you usually don't hear about it. For the longest time I thought Hardcore of the North was a classical piece.

I personally think that The Overture of 1812 would be straight up G money for a DDR song, with a beat of course.

If you want to stretch to Pump it Up, Beethoven Virus is from the 3rd movement of Beethoven's "Pathetique".

In fact PIU Exceed has, in a single PS2 title, more than all PS DDR's worth of classic classical compositions. I love my DDR but I was very surprised (rather pleasantly) when I saw all the classical music in there.

There's Mozart too (Dr M!), and several others. They are mostly in the Banya music section.

And yes, I love Dream A Dream because of the Inspector Gadget Theme. It was instant recognition for me.

To me, Hardcore of the North sounds like a combination of all the Tetris themes.

M is from the 2nd movement of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata". It is also DM Ashura's "Moonlight Rave".

And ITG2's Vorsprung Durch Techno is Vivaldi's Spring (4 seasons).
Habenara 1 is based off of a movement from the Opera "Carmen" (Georges Bizet).
