I lost the cable that goes from the Control Box to the USB port for my computer, so I'm wondering if this is the right part:

There has been a debate about it over on the CF forums.
The first 2-3 people on the forums that said they tried it with the CF said it worked flawlessly with no lag. The next handful of people had problems with it, and some didn't get the adapter working at all.
Then another guy that purchased his CF earlier this year (Feb 16 i believe) said it worked perfect for him. It probably depends on when your CF was made, so if you have an older CF theres probably a decent chance that your wasting your money if you buy one of these. |

I was planning to purchase a CF this summer once I get a job (I'm only 14), so I'm just making sure I can use it for StepMania, thanks! _________________

This thing is the right part, but it's a piece of $H1T!
I'm getting loads of misses even though it configured fine in the menu. The thing is a PS2-USB Converter, so the wire goes from my dance pad, to the control box, to this thing, to the USB port. Is that the cause of this sucking?
*EDIT* I think the problem might be because the arrows use the axis instead of actual buttons. Is there any way for me to change this (I tried recalibrating but couldn't find a way)?
*EDIT 2* LMFAO! That was the problem, there's a "Dance Mode" option in the driver menu |
