| right now all i have are the ddr mixes in stepmania, i know that ITG uses different color patterns for the arrows and the difficulty system is set up different. so will i need to download anything new? or will stepmania just treat the simfiles like a DDR songs? |

You need the theme, the noteskins and modified judge windows.
Dig around the forums on itgfreak.com and you should find some instructions. |

U dont NEED any of that. Only reason u would want thhat is if you want to make it LOOK like ITG. But if u just wanna play the songs, all u need is the simfiles |

I have to add that there are some good reasons to use the ITG noteskins and timings:
-compare your scores with other players using the right judge windows and scoring system
-the noteskin has more colors than the regular ddr skin and makes it easier to distinguish between 32nd and 64th notes (or wherever they were different)
-mines react way to sensitive if you don't change the padstickseconds value in the stepmania.ini (already set in itgfreak's ini) |
