So say I want to play random BM simulator with my IIDX controller (official, not the $400 one, though).
Which USB adapter should I use for my Windows PC? Thanks in advance.
Side note: this is not related to music games, but...if I had MAME and, say, Pole Position or Arkanoid, would the turntable act as a steering wheel/dial? Because that could be funny. _________________

heres a good converter that will register everything, also dance pad compatible.

and as for the steering, the turntable maps to up and down by default so unless you can change it, it wouldn't work _________________

Ah. So the turntable on a IIDX home controller isn't analog at all? I've learned something new. On an arcade 5-key machine, the turntable was analog, if I remember. Something about how fast I spun the turntable affected the speed at which the assigned sample sound played.
Thank you then. _________________

You can also go to Radio Shack and pick up a PS-->USB adaptor for like $8-10. I use an older version, but it's worked great (also for using PS1/2 controllers for MAME too). _________________
