hi ppl just a random thought. i was thinkin of when i have kids i was gonna name muh daughter: Nzinga Ayanna Sakura.... what do u think? see muh boyfriend LOVES the song sakura as do i. so what do u think?

Sakura is a fairly common name. To my rusty knowledge of Japanese, i think it means Cherry Blossom (if you already knew that, sorry, but other readers may want to be informes, too). I dont think its a bad name, go for it!

i like unusual names and Sakura is just creative and different than most names. i doubt muh daughter will get beat up 4 that...if those kids know who her aunt is....lol. ne ways thanx ppl.

Sure why not. Sakura from the anime Naruto is a girl. It also means cherry blossom in Japanese.

Note for those who might have missed it: Sakura is extremely common in Japan. In English, it's not the worst thing you could name your kid; but it's not one of the best, either.

This is kinda like a white woman naming her white daughter "Shaniqua". Nothing's stopping her from naming her that, but it still sounds weird.

In this case, it's also fine if you wanna name her Sakura because you like the song. It's just your daughter's gonna get the crap beat out of her once people realize why she got her name.
