DDR love

I like this guy a lot and I invited him to go with me and my cousin to the arcade 3 hours away to play DDR & ITG2. I wanted to ask him out too so I thought it would be cool to do it there in the arcade. Any dramatic or interesting things I could do to ask him out there, DDR style?

Oh and if you think impressing him with hard songs is a good idea, he can AA anything in the arcade.

and I can only do up to 7 footers.

In terms of your issue, its already relevant that you do share at least one thing in common that is your dedication toward playing dd/itg. You should use that to your advantage. If you really like him that much, then just put it out there, the worse he can do is say no and I don't think he would look at you any less of a person even if you did ask him out.

In terms of what kind of things you would like to ask him to build up to the point of you asking him out, you can always ask him how to improve your skill level, since he can practically aa anything, while your moving to the 7-8 footer realm. If he is your friend he would be more than happy to suggest some tips and some easier 8 songs for you to try. Also try to discover similar interests as well, because the better you can communicate with each other the better potential of you going out with him, since commuication is a key contributor in any kind of relationship.

All and all, just try to have fun, if its meant to be, it is, if not you'll eventually find someone else. Just try to have fun and make the most out of each and every day.

Actually, I think you already have 'asked him out'. Just have fun and do what you'd do if you were just friends (which you two are right now). Don't fret too much about asking him out. Have fun!
