I've had this problem for a long time, 3 years to be exact, wonder if anybody has ever found a solution or know what the problem may be.
I have an official konami drum set; works fine with the PS2 but only 1 out of every 4 hits or so actually register through a ps2/usb adapter on the pc.
I was having some delay issues with my DDR pads as well, so I bought a new adapter (smartjoy PLUS) and the lag isssues went away w. the ddr pads (or it may be because i use different pads now, i havn't tested the theory)... but unfortunatly the same sensitivity issues occur w/ the drum pads. Only 1 out of every 4 hits or so actually register when i go to the controller properties. The foot pedal works flawlessly, so my guess is the driver has to detect the button press for a certain amount of time, and w/ it being a drum pad/isntaly touched, it is having issues.
Anybody know what the problem can be? anybody else use an official konami drum set w/ a USB adapter and if so, which kind? maybe an updated / homeade driver of somekind?
If i need to modify the drum pad and make ym own home-made adpapter type thing, I would be willing to give it a try at this point.
Maybe it's just my system / crappy motherboard?
thanks. :-/
