Pop'n non-ASC precautions?

Now that i have one of those small little $50 Pop'n controllers, what should I do to keep it in good shape and stuff?

They're next to indestructable. I once accidently covered one in pancake syrup and took it apart and washed everything (wiped off the PCB) and put it back together. Good as new. Just don't drive over it and there's nothing to really go wrong with them.
