By bar, you mean the life bar, right? If so, you cannot turn it off. _________________

On DDR Extreme, you can turn on Workout Mode, making it impossible to fail (which, for all purposes, removes the lifebar). _________________

Can't you just put it into event mode instead of workout mode?
That makes it so you can't fail, right? _________________

actually, you can. go to options, then game options, and find something called event mode. i dont remember if you turn it on or off, but just change it from what it is. the bar will still be there, but you wont be able to fail. |

yes, but after you do 1 set, you go right back to the selection screen.
if you do somethin like that, and do a hard song you can't do, you might give up and you can't fail, so you can't doing anything about it.
If you want, you can change the difficulty to easy, which makes the bar deplete less.

i'm not sure anyone noticed this
anyways, yes, event mode would be the way to go, assuming that you don't want to fail, if you just don't want to see it, just tape some paper or something over the bar *ghetto* _________________

Well, he did ask how to remove the bar, and there-by making it impossible to fail, right?
I think...>.<
Also, in event mode, you can hold down the Start button and fail if you really want. I think that works in all versions. _________________

yah, a lot of people only count you passing a song if you do it without touching the bar. i think its stupid but what ever!
in that case, um, no you can "turn off the bar" at your house, you need a screwdriver for that |
