gee, he's comparing a metal pad to non metal pads? Well OF COURSE he's going to be impressed. He should go out and test a few CFs and ABs and TXs before he starts saying crap like:

on the other hand, it's good to see a review written objectively (though uninformed). I'd kinda like to know where he got these pads, but he never posted a link, and the name "Dance Dance Revolution Metal Arcade Dance Platform" doesn't help at all. It seems to be roughly a TX model, judging by the contact system. |

I believe that model pad is no longer made, given the review is over four years old. Odds are it was one of the first generation MyMyBox clones. _________________

What Heffenfeffer said. Look at the upper right hand corner of the pad, where those 4 white buttons are. These pads were made before the current trend of having select and start buttons on a separate control box. They don't make these pads anymore to my knowledge. The closest thing to it, I think, would be this MyMyBox pad, which is even more expensive and also out of stock. o_O |
