Hey all, I have been playing DDR for only a short time, about a year and a half. I bought a BNS USA foam insert pad about a year ago, it is an awsome pad but now it has stopped working so well due to heavy use. I would like a metal pad, but long-lasting foam inserts would be good too if they are that much cheaper. So basically, anyone wanna post about the highest quality for price pads? I want a pad that will last through heavy use and constant play, I know cobalt flux is the top metal pad, but is it worth the price or are there cheaper metal pads that are nearly as good? Thanks for the help all :-D. |

I might suggest the BNS Fusion.
I took teh cheaper route with a TX-1000, and hoping that it'll hold out. |

The RedOctane Afterburner is my favorite pad so far. I like the recessed buttons and it holds up pretty good against wear and tear. As for the Cobalt Flux, Its definitely a good pad, but Its basically just a piece of wood with arrows on it. Also, when they claim that they can run over it with cars and it will still function, I dont believe that one bit. |
