ITG on Stepmania help!

Okay, I got the WinRar. I used it. Each song is in its little folder(made with WinRar not WinZip) and I even unzipped it with winzip too. Nothing seems to work. If you know how to get ITG sm files to work on sm then plz, feel free to tell me.

As far as I know when you download a song, doubleclick the file you downloaded then extract the folder named with the song, extract it to the songs folder in your Stepmania folder. Does that make sense??

it does, and i have already tried but i willl try again

EDIT: I have tried to do all of these:

extract using WinZip, and put in a folder using WinRar
extract using Winzip, and put in a folder along with its WinRar file using Winrar
exctract using WinZip

Nothing worked for me.

Ok I downloaded a song to see if this will help. These are my steps. First should look like this:

Then next should look like this:

I think the DWI and MP3 files do th same thing correct??? And that was using WinRAR. I just downloaded the file to my desktop then went from there.

The files I am talking about are .rar files. And they aren't working.

.zip files are easy. But the .rar files are the problem ones.

The only difference between .zip and .rar files is the type of compression used. They both have the same file structure. Try unraring the files to your desktop, then copying the folders manually into the directory.

Remember you'r going for

Stepmania\Songs\<Name Of Song Group>\<Name Of Song>\Song.mp3

So like

Stepmania\Songs\DDR\Get up and Move!\Get up and Move.mp3
Stepmania\Songs\DDR\Get up and Move!\Get up and Move.sm
Stepmania\Songs\DDR\Get up and Move!\Get up and Move.png

Hmm. I had the .mp3 and the .sm but not the .png in there, How do you get that tipe of file?

The png is unnecessary, and only comes with certain downloads (it's the background image). If you have the mp3/ogg and the sm/dwi file, it should work fine.
