School Project

I'm working on a video for a school project (basically just something I can make to show the rest of my students) and wanted to incorporate DDR into it somehow. It's only going to be something no longer than 5 minutes long, and I just wanted to keep it simple. My initial idea was something along the lines of a plant (yes, a plant, like a fern or something) going to the arcade, being challenged by another plant, and oooh the drama, and yea. the idea of a plant playing DDR has always just struck me as hilarious.

Anyways, that's just my initial idea. If anyone has an idea they'd like to pitch in post it.

hilarious nontheless. It would be awesome if like, it was doing LoM on heavy, then you could cut away to the grading screen, and show a AAA.

Kind of corney, but for an idea even if you took the plant to the arcade and challenged it to a round of DDR, than played agints it and have the camera show you moving around while the plant just sits there, and than use some trick camera and show the score screne of the plant beating you (do a "vs" where you play on the one side, than do it again but switch to the other side, but dont tape the second shot) and than get mad but show how great your plant is.

here is my imput make a side by side image. one of them on the screen getting perfects and stuff. the other screen is the plant which u record on each panel and alter it so it looks like the plant is going from button to button getting sweet scores. i would find this cool and even if it wasnt 2 screens u can cut between the two.

Some kid in my statistics class did something like the average amount of perfects, greats, goods, etc. that people get. It was pretty stupid and nobody really listened, but I was laughing at him so hard I had to step out of class.

If you really feel like making a video like that then go ahead. Just consider the consiquences.

EDIT: Just saw the video, and to be honest, is the stupidest thing I have ever seen in my life. It was so stupid I didn't even laugh at it.

It was hilarious when the arrows just started to get faster and faster. The sweat thing was creepy.

you got permission to spill water all over the pad at your arcade? umm what you could do is frame by frame then he col do all the steps but it'd be hard and the movie seemed a bit too easy to make kinda a day or 2 long project

I'm going to have to agree with BLT on this one. I have a ton of medication in me right now, and I didn't even chuckle a bit (for reference, I laughed at the closet door not opening). The first thing you should fix is the sound; you should actually have the different tracks in the background, instead of just playing TLoM the whole time. If someone took a game I didn't play (we'll just say Splinter Cell), and made a similar video to present to a class, I'd be happy that if I didn't even turn a project in, I'd still shine by comparison. You ought to take 4 pictures, with the plant on each respective arrow, and find a way to rapidly play those shots in a shuffled pattern, so it at least mildly looks like something is happening.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm reading these suggestions thinking that you guys just don't get it. The whole reason the sweat and the keeling over is funny is because the plant is NOT moving. Suggesting that stop-motion animation should be used to make it look like it's moving, would defeat the whole purpose.
