|
|
Does anyone know if MadCatz sells replace foam inserts? I've tried to find out if they do, but for the life of me I can't find anything. I have a MadCatz Beat Pad Pro, and the arrows work alright but my gameplay would improve if I got some new foam. The arrows are so depressed that they're about twice as dense as the rest of the pad. I don't really want to buy a new pad, so if anyone could help that'd be great. _________________

You could try purchasing some foam and cardboard and modding it yourself. Google it, there's tons of tuts out there for this |

ive heard very very very bad reviews for the MC beat pad pro. people say its worse than the regular beat pad. i have a MC beat pad and a redoctane 2.0 ignition at home. my ignition is excellent. i tried putting newspaper under the pad and pieces of cardboard under the buttons to give it an ignition feel, but i still dont like it. just get a new pad and save yourself the trouble. |

Actually, my pad has held up remarkably well. I'm about 145 lbs, and I've played on heavy for at least an hour a day over the past six months (yes, EVERY DAY) at $60 CDN, it was well worth the buy for me. When this one craps out I won't hesitate to buy another.
Anyways.
The sensors work fine, it's just that the foam has become so depressed it's awkward to play on. Yes, I could take the foam out, but that would just kill my knees...
I'm thinking of mixing something up with cotton balls and duct tape _________________

It's a MadCatz pad, not a RedOctane one, so the foam would be a different size. _________________

Most of dance pad size is close to each other!
mos of soft dance pad is from 32 X 36 or 33 X 37 at the most!
If you can measure your dance pad or take a look at the madcatz website for size of the dance pad that you got. you can compare the size of dance pad and get the insert form that is good for you. ^^ |
