Pretty much any cross-training sneaker will work. You don't need anything special.
Those soles do look a little thin, but you should be okay. _________________

If you play flat-footed, then Puma's are excellent. I recommend chucks if you play lightly though. _________________

Pumas are excellent. Once you get used to them, they will not only NOT hinder your play, but perhaps improve it. Some of the best DDRers in my city wear Pumas to play and love 'em. |
