How did u get into DDR?

First of all i know this has been mentioned.

Okay well i first got into it when i was seven. I was at my cuz's and we went to our arcade. I saw kids doing songs on 5th mix. I got on and started doing abbyss i failed. 5 years later, i got into DDR again and now i can do most 9's

I got into DDR on a field rip i had in 5th grade, we went to the bowling alley and had like 5 bucks in quarters for the arcade and the got a new game in it (it was solo 2000 at the time its ddr extreme now) and i played it and got pretty into it was was getting D's on most of the light mode songs i played with an occasional fail. then the feild trip ended i left, then about a year and a half later i got a home version of ddr with a crappy plastic pad and all that and i played it tons, i went from light to standard in about 2 weeks. and it was fun then a month later i was playing heavy. and a year later im still playing heavy and i can do most 9 footers so far.

The way I got into DDR was when I went on vacation to Orlando Florida and there was an arcade called Midway right across the street from the hotel I was staying in. They had a DDR machine there so I decided to play it. That's when I got hooked onto it that late at night I would sometimes sneak out from the hotel just to play DDR. I've been playing for 2 years so far.

then i bought konamix for psx got decent and then got EX-ps2 and got even better and now, after playing for a year, im as good as some that have been playing for a few years.

i got into it cause my brothers played it, i got into it in 2004 and have surpassed them both but i can do 9 footers i wish i could do better songs.

I went to my cuz home and played it there....then I got it for my house and played it there....now one year later I play at arcades able to beat all songs on DDR and doing level 11 and 12's on ITG and trying to beat
Hardcore to the north,tell,pandemonium (expert) and thats about it....

I played it at my cousin's and liked it. Figured i could looes some weight plaing it. I bought Extreme ps2 and a month later am still only AA on lighweight. is standard harder for me cuz im fat? or is this normal. (already lost 20lbs in a month)

My best friend and I were both first exposed to DDR by our other best friend on a Band Field Trip, however, I didn't really start playing for a few months after, so he's now alot better than me.

My brother and sister bought DDRMAX2 for ps2. At first i thought that i wouldnt be interested, but they made me play and i thought it was fun. The rest is history...

i went to a arcade in a mall and i just saw all these people umping around on a metal pad and it looked liked fun. I failed my first try then i really goy into it now i can heavy on a lot of songs but not paranoia 290 (suvivior max).
