Sore feet...

I have a Rychan modded ingnition pad, and within the past week, my feet have started to kill me! I've been using the pad for about 3 weeks with no problem up until now...

I thought of using carpet padding and slipping it in on top of the particle board, but carpet padding has too much of an irregular surface, and I don't think it's dense enough to do the job. Any ideas as to what I can slip in there to act as a cushion to save my feet?!

I was thinking some kind of foam, but i dunno where to get it, and I don't want to buy it blindly off the internet...

People have used chair mats in the past to add some softness to their pad. I believe mouse pads, if you cut and reglued them, might also work.

Chair mats? As in the hard plastic thing you put an office chair on with spikes on the bottom?

no... as in the soft solid things you put on a chair to cushin your buttocks...
