you unplug the machine to move it? Will the high scores be lost... or are they stored in the machine's memory so that the only way they can be erased is through the set-up menu?

I'm not sure. I'd assume that the high scores would stay. You should ask in the Arcade forum though.

I know for a fact that if you unplug a DDR machine, the scores will *STAY* unlike ParaParaParadise or Beatmania. Its stored on the 32MB flashcard (Or some other memory inside the box).

Note that its basically doing the same thing as shutting it off with the switch inside the coin door, so moving it while it is completly unplugged wont matter.

game data is strored in non-volatile eeprom memory, so power loss won't affect it.
