I was wondering if it would be possible to change the avatar size limit to 100x100. Since most websites use that limit, my avatars are designed with that in mind, so when i resize them to make them work here, they look like crap :/ The change wouldn't brake tables, since the text for the Join Date and Location already takes up more space, so the change wouldnt affect screen size. File size could be the same if there's bandwidth concerns, since a correctly compressed image doesnt need to be that big.
Just a suggestion... the small avatars kinda bug me, specially whit people everywhere that have huge, annoying "Dj XxeViLxX AAA TeAm LoL" crappy image signatures.

better/easyer idea
make new avitars i can tell you right now the avitar size wont change at all so you can resize (why they look like crap is beyond me as yoru going form a square to a square so you ahve no strech either vertical or horizontal and yoru not makeing them BIGGER so they dont look pixiliated0

There's a limit on sig sizes, so nobody has huge image sigs.
64x64px is enough for anyone. I wish other sites used smaller avatars. |

Anecdotal. LJ uses 100x100. Most other forums I've been to have no restrictions on avatar sizes, period.
AOL uses 32x32, IIRC. That's a pretty large sampling right there. Blowing up a 32x32 image to 64x64 doesn't affect the height/width ratio, so that looks alright.
