I have to write an expository essay comparing 2 brands. Being the DDR enthusiast I am, I'm doing Cobalt Flux and Red Octane Metal dance pads. I just need your input about the quality, the price, was it a good deal, whatever! Nothing negative though, this is a school paper.

Many people complain about the CF being too much sensitive. All I know about it!

Plus it's not being too objective either. Newspaper is a part of news media, and it is your job not to sway over to one side and to show both or all points of views to the story.

That is, unless it's an editorial.

CF is definetely the best home pad I've ever played on, but the bolts tend to strip easily posing a problem that is a pain to fix. It's not too sensitive. I don't have a Redoctane metal pad, but from what I've heard it's pretty bad.
