|
|
This might help answer some questions, maybe not. I was asked to plot the twenty easiest expert songs on In the Groove to Tri-Star by a friend of mine as a training tool - using Groovestats scores. Since I figured it would help me too, I went ahead and did that.
The following are those songs in order from #1 (easiest) to #20 (hardest). First comes the song, then a bracket with it's foot difficulty, and then the number of people who have Tri-Starred it on Groovestats. Enjoy!
#1: Da Roots [9] (38)
#2: Flying High [9] (31)
#3: Rom-eo & Juli8 [9] (29)
#4: Boogie Down [9] (28)
#5: Disconnected Mobius [9] (22)
#6: The Game [9] (22)
#7: Driving Force Classical [9] (19)
#8: Hip Hop Jam [9] (17)
#9: Kiss Me Red [9] (14)
#10: Drifting Away [9] (11)
#11: Zodiac [9] (11)
#12: Lemmings on The Run [9] (9)
#13: Solina [9] (9)
#14: Tough Enough [9] (9)
#15: Dawn [9] (8)
#16: Disconnected [9] (7)
#17: Fly Away [9] (7)
#18: Touch Me [9] (7)
#19: Charlene [11] (6)
#20: While the Rekkid Spinz [9] (6)
Everything is a [9] except Charlene which is an [11]. Maybe they should change Charlene to a [10] in ITG2? _________________

easy to pa != easy to pass. Charlene should stay an 11. A really easy one, but still an 11.
Personally, I think Mobius is easiest; it has so many freezes your FA can be a lot worse, and you can still 3star it. _________________

Charlene is definately an 11. I can get As on Xuxa but can't get 1/3 through Charlene. |

IMO Kiss Me Red is easier than Driving Force Classical.
I don't know about you guys, but those jumps in the middle are the only reason. _________________

Driving Force Classical is hard for n00bs because it's really tiring. I could pass a lot of 9s already when I first tried it, and I barely passed; halfway through I was exhausted. It's an easy song for good players who have built up enough stamina to get through it, because the steps are pretty simple. I can't imagine it being easy for new players who haven't practiced 10+ footers yet, though. |

Kiss Me Red has only one thing making it hard to tri-star, it has VERY few notes. You have very little room for error. DFC has so many steps, even with like 20+ excellents you can tri-star. DFC also has incredibly straightforward rythm and a strong bass. _________________

What Kiba fails to mention about Driving Force is the fact that it NEVER EVER stops and is alot more draining then just about every other song on that list with the exception of Disconnected (which is totally my worst 9 ever ) While The Rekkid Spins is easier overall then the majority of the songs on that list, but I'd guess alot of people see that it has hands and shy away from it. I only have 2 ***s on expert so far (and 4 songs at 98.9x) and without getting two pad ngs i ***ed WTRS. The hands in it aren't that hard _________________

i'd say hands of time and kagami are pretty easy too...as well as anubis.
but then again. i play the first two almost every time so that might be the reason they're easy for me > > |

i thought it was regarding easier songs in general, to tristar i'm sure anubis and kagami'll be hell but ionno about hands of time.
that'll be my goal...try tristarring hands of time. =] |
